Since its inception in 2001, Safari Limousines has been synonymous with high profile, cutting edge, and luxury in specialized private transportation for the greater Raleigh area. Safari Custom Coach opened in 1993 with an intense focus on engineering a larger, more durable, and safer limousine to meet the needs of a growing market. After moving to NC, Safari successfully merged mechanical know-how with business sense to meet the transportation needs of those living in the Triangle.

While Safari Limousines started as a company offering private transportation for airport transfers, a sophisticated transportation alternative for elderly and medically impaired customers, and a more comfortable long-distance option for VIPs, it was Safari’s commitment to cutting-edge alternatives that helped position them to better accommodate customers’ nightlife requests. Safari exploded onto the night-time party scene with the area’s first H1 “Party Style” SUV limousine, awed people again by being the first in the state to offer an H2 Hummer limousine, and, in 2005, solidified their status as the go-to limo service by acquiring the area’s most extreme party on wheels: Big Foot, the Monster Truck limousine. Remaining the vanguard of Raleigh’s private transportation industry and preserving their reputation for providing state-of-the-art vehicles and extraordinary service continue to be Safari’s priorities.

Each driver is trained to be in compliance with the NLA Driver Program. These CDL license holders are drug tested every 6 months and have passed a background check that assures the person behind the wheel is safe and credible.
